PAMELA ANDERSON HAS 2 ANIMAL CRUELTY-FREE LINES COMING THIS FALL

Long-time vegan actress and pin-up Pamela Anderson — who has dabbled in design in the past — has two new fashion projects on the horizon. Both involve accessories and both are 100 percent animal cruelty-free. 

The first is a collaboration with French designer Amelie Pichard, who posted a photo to social media on Thursday of a signed vintage Playboy with Anderson on the cover and revealed that their joint collection will be available in December. According to WWD, Anderson met Pichard through Instagram and together they have designed seven heels and pumps and one beach bag made exclusively from plastic, cottons, acrylics and rubbers. The prices will range from $490 to $950. As of now, the collaboration will be available exclusively at Opening Ceremony in Los Angeles and Colette in Paris, and Montreal-based Ssense will pick it up in January. WWD also reports that Anderson will star in a campaign for the line shot by David LaChapelle, who has plenty of experience photographing her wearing accessories and not much else. 

For those looking for a more casual animal-friendly shoe option, Anderson also has you covered. On Tuesday, a website for her new line of Ugg-style beach booties went live at PammiesLife.com, featuring three styles made from recycled electronics. "This is my passion — to get a pair of these on everybody who enjoys the beach lifestyle and everyone who enjoys the comfyness [sic] of slipping on something easy and warm to bring their dogs to the beach or anywhere outdoors," she wrote in a note on the site.

According to People StyleWatch, Anderson said she felt used by Ugg Australiato promote its famous boots when they were first released because she disagreed with how animals were treated in the production process. "That was the beginning of my animal activism career, and since then I've been trying to create an alternative," she told StyleWatch. The Pammies boots will be available online in October and at Ron Robinson boutiques in Los Angeles in November. 

STELLA LUCIA MAKES A CASE FOR THE FANNY PACK AS CROSS-BODY BAG

Why is it that models' off duty looks are consistently so enviable? Sure, they have access to some sweet designer pieces and seem to always be coming from a photoshoot, but more often than not, their style instincts are effortless in an approachable way. 

Case in point: Stella Lucia on Wednesday in Vienna, Austria. The young model posed in front of a sandwich poster that happened to perfectly match her Petar Petrov fur jacket in orange, purple and tortilla wrap brown (yes, that's the technical name). And though the jacket is a very useful fall staple by itself, it's what she's wearing underneath that caught our attention. First, there's the very plain black sweatshirt with the hood pulled out over the fur. And then there's an equally plain black fanny pack worn over one shoulder and across the chest — a fashion hack way to wear an accessory that has been popping up on the runways recently but isn't always the most comfortable (or flattering) to wear on one's hips or waist, especially if a long thick sweatshirt is involved. Paired with straight-leg jeans and black combat boots, it's a cozy, cool everyday fall look that non-models can pull off, too. No designer connections needed.

Hey guys! If you follow me on snapchat (@hellofashblog) you might have seen a sneak peek of my trip to L.A. a couple weeks ago to recreate some of the hairstyles from the Emmys with ghd. I spent the day with celebrity hairstylist David Babaii and learned so many little tricks from watching him style. Today I’m sharing a recreation of the January Jones look with the new ghd Platinum styler. The new styler is amazing! It makes your hair silky smooth and adds more shine to your hair. It’s actually designed for colored hair and so it keeps your color for up to 2 times longer. Check out my video below for a tutorial on how to achieve the Emmy inspired look.

1. Part your hair down the middle. I always part mine just slightly to the side because it frames my face more.
2. Divide your hair into 3 sections – two in the front on each side and one in the back.
3. Starting with the back, use the ghd Platinum styler to straighten strands about 1 inch wide. The styler has a curved edge so you can add a light curl at the ends without worrying about weird kinks.
4. When you work your way around to the front sections, rotate the styler 180 degrees before you pull it down through the ends of your hair. You can use this tip just for the section framing your face for a sleeker feel or I added more dimension by doing it through two additional sections.
5. For that last January Jones touch, tuck one section behind your ear and you are ready for anything from the red carpet to girls night out.

I’m not saying this because I’ve partnered with ghd for this post, but I am obsessed with this tool.
