It's no secret that clean white sneakers have reigned supreme for a few seasons now. While that look is in no way on its way out, there appears to be a new trend that's proving to be a dominating style of the season: skater shoes. As Alexander Wang displayed in his S/S 16 collection, and as It girls like Kendall Jenner have showcased (check out her velcro sneakers!), this '90s-esque silhouette that's a bit chunkier in shape (remember those Etnies you wore in high school?) is the cool-girl shoe of the summer.

The late Princess Diana continues to have a lasting fashion legacy, so it comes as no surprise that her closet is highly coveted. As The Telegraph reports, the London auction house Kerry Taylor will soon be offering up one of her iconic dresses: a glittering blue gown she wore to the theater in Vienna in 1986.
"It is unlike anything else in her 1980's wardrobe—the only one that was completely covered in sequins and is very glamorous and figure-hugging," Kerry Taylor told The Telegraph. Owning a piece of history, as you might imagine, comes with a steep price tag: the gown is expected to fetch around $145,000.
